How Brazil could line up against Argentina

Sports Mole looks at how Brazil could line up for their international friendly against fierce rivals Argentina in Saudi Arabia.

The latest edition of the South American El Clasico will take place in the unfamiliar surroundings of the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia when Brazil take on Argentina in an international friendly on Tuesday.

Both sides cruised to victories in the opening matches of the mini-tournament, with Brazil beating the host nation 2-0 and Argentina thrashing Iraq 4-0.

Brazil have had things pretty easy since their World Cup exit at the hands of Belgium, winning all three of their friendlies by an aggregate scoreline of 9-0.

Argentina should provide by far their toughest test since this summer's tournament, though, and here Sports Mole looks at how Tite could line his side up for the match.

Possible BRA XI vs. ARG

There should be plenty of stars on show in Saudi Arabia, including the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus and Neymar - the latter of whom will be looking for his 60th international goal in his 94th appearance.

Jesus is expected to continue in place of Roberto Firmino after scoring against the hosts last time out, although Tite can call upon the likes of Richarlison, Lucas Moura and the uncapped Malcom should he choose to switch things around in attack.

Barcelona's Arthur will be hopeful of a start - most likely in place of Manchester United midfielder Fred - while Renato Augusto and Casemiro could keep their places in the starting lineup.

Miranda is expected to replace Pablo - who made his debut against Saudi Arabia - and Tite must also decide whether to give Filipe Luis a run-out or to stick with Alex Sandro.

Liverpool's Fabinho played at right-back against the Saudis, and his clubmate Alisson Becker could also start having sat out in favour of Manchester City's Ederson last time out.
