Bradford seeking loan cover for injured Paul Anderson

Bradford seeking loan cover for injured Anderson

Phil Parkinson has revealed that Bradford City are in the market for a new winger following the loss of Paul Anderson.

The Bantams are expected to be without the 27-year-old for the remainder of the season after he broke his leg in the League One meeting with Peterborough United on the weekend.

Having been dealt another injury blow, Parkinson is now hoping to bring in a fresh face while the emergency loan window is still open.

"It's always difficult getting hold of people on a Sunday but I made a lot of calls and there are a few possibilities we will have a look at," he is quoted as saying by the Telegraph & Argus.

"It's terrible news for us to lose Paul. The last few weeks he has started to show what he is all about. He had a couple of good performances from the bench and I thought he was excellent in the Sheffield United game."

Anderson joined Bradford on a two-year deal in the summer upon being released by Ipswich Town.
