Striker Billy Clarke signs new Bradford City deal

Billy Clarke signs new Bradford deal

Billy Clarke has agreed a new contract with League One outfit Bradford City.

The striker's previous deal at the Coral Windows Stadium had been due to expire at the end of the season.

However, the 27-year-old, who has not played since the opening week of the campaign because of a knee injury, has now committed himself to the club until June 2018.

"This new deal has been in the pipeline for a while now but there was no real rush with my injury," he told the club's official website.

"I've loved every minute of my time at the club so far. There was never any thought of me wanting to move to somewhere else. My family are settled here. They love it here really and the support I get from the fans is fantastic."

Clarke has scored 15 goals for the Bantams since his arrival from Crawley Town in 2014.
