Juan Arango: 'My free kicks are better than Cristiano Ronaldo's'

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Juan Arango has said that he is better at taking free kicks than Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Venezuela international scored the winner from a free kick against Hoffenheim in their 2-1 victory at home in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

"I do not need to hide behind Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of free kicks," Arango told Bild. "Last season he scored two direct free-kick goals, I scored three. And this season, I want more - it's a goal of mine.

"I don't need to remain behind for half an hour after training to practice. I just need a few minutes. I just know how to do it."

Monchengladbach are back in Bundesliga action against Fortuna Dusseldorf away from home on Saturday.
