Kampl: Dortmund move "a childhood dream"

Kevin Kampl has spoken of his happiness at becoming a Borussia Dortmund player.

On December 22, it was confirmed that the Bundesliga outfit had agreed a deal to sign the midfielder from Red Bull Salzburg.

Having now linked up with his new teammates in La Manga for warm weather training, the 24-year-old admitted that he eager is to make an impact.

"A childhood dream has come true with this move. As a kid I was a big fan of BVB. I want to give my all and hope to be able to help the team quickly. The team has taken me in extremely well, which of course makes it easier," he told the club's official website.

The Slovenian international is believed to have cost Dortmund £8m.
