Report: Marvin Sordell ready for Charlton Athletic loan

Bolton Wanderers have accepted a loan offer from Charlton Athletic for striker Marvin Sordell.

The 22-year-old from Harrow signed for the Trotters for £3.2m during last year's January transfer window but has failed to settle down in the North West.

According to the Bolton News, the Addicks have offered Sordell the opportunity to play in London, although the length of the deal has not yet been made clear.

The England Under-21 international, who scored just four goals in 22 appearances last season, was also approached by Bournemouth.
