Dougie Freedman: 'No enquiries for Zat Knight, Lee Chung-Yong'

Freedman: 'No enquiries for duo'

Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has played down speculation linking Zat Knight and Lee Chung-Yong with moves away from the club.

Reports surfaced over the weekend suggesting that the duo had been the subject of bids from Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union and Hull City respectively.

"I have seen the paper talk about [Lee] but we have never had one enquiry - not one phone call," the 39-year-old told the Bolton News.

""It's the same with Zat Knight. He has never approached me and said he wants to play in the MLS - in fact, I think he wants to continue playing in England and do his coaching badges."

The Trotters are currently in 19th place in the Championship after letting slip a two-goal lead against Bournemouth last time out.
