Preview: Bolton Wanderers vs. Brentford

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship clash between Bolton Wanderers and Brentford at the Macron Stadium.

Brentford can extend their unbeaten run to four matches when they travel to the Macron Stadium to take on Bolton Wanderers in the Championship this weekend.

The Bees sit 12th in the table following their promotion from League One last season, and shared a goalless draw with Sheffield Wednesday earlier this week.

Mark Warburton has no fresh injury concerns heading into this match, but may promote Nick Proschwitz to the starting lineup after he came close to netting a late winner against the Owls.

Meanwhile, Bolton will be looking to bounce back following defeat to Charlton Athletic earlier this week.

Neil Lennon started his reign in charge at Bolton with a win, but the 2-1 loss to Charlton has left the Trotters 23rd in the table, three points from safety.

The manager has insisted that his side must improve in front of goal if they are to pull away from the bottom of the table, with only Blackpool having scored fewer goals in the Championship so far this season.

The team have not reported any new injury concerns following the trip to The Valley, so Lennon could name an unchanged side for the match.

This will be the first time that these two sides have met in a league match since the 1995-96 season, when Bolton completed a double of Brentford.
