Dougie Freedman happy with Bolton Wanderers' display

Freedman happy with Bolton performance

Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has said that he was happy with the way his team played in their 1-1 draw against Reading.

The Trotters were the stronger team early on and took the lead through Darren Pratley's header.

However, Reading upped their levels after the interval and equalised through Nick Blackman's penalty.

"The fist 45 minutes were fantastic and we had lots of attacking play," Freedman told Sky Sports News.

"In the second half, Reading came out and played like a team from the Premier League. It was very end to end, a fantastic game."

Freedman also tipped Reading to reach the playoffs at the end of the season.

"I strongly believe we have played a team who could be in the top six," he added.

Bolton travel to Nottingham Forest next before a home match with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, August 24.
