Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has said that the versatility of on-loan midfielder Joe Mason makes him an exciting prospect.
The Cardiff City striker completed a short-term loan switch to the Championship side on Thursday.
"Joe can play a number of positions," Clubcall.com quotes Freedman as saying.
"I've seen him play up top on his own and I've seen him play behind the striker, I've seen them play in a flat two up top and on the wings.
"That's the reason I signed him. He's a very good, young football player that's got good ability and he's very coachable. You can coach Joe, he takes things on in the couple of days I've worked with him."
Mason has made two appearances for Cardiff this season.
