Owen Coyle issues support for goal-line technology after benefiting from an incorrect decision in the 2-1 win over QPR.

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has reiterated his support for goal-line technology after his side benefited from an incorrect decision in their 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.

The London side were denied a clear goal when Clint Hill's header went well over the line before Bolton grabbed a late winner.

Despite being given a helping hand by the lack of technology, Coyle has expressed his sympathy for Mark Hughes and believes that the technology should be introduced sooner rather than later.

"I can understand Mark's and QPR's frustration with the fact that Clint Hill's header clearly went over the line," he told Sky Sports News.

"Our goalkeeper Adam Bogdan made a great save, palming it out, but there was no doubt it was clearly over the line, and we got a break there.

"There are no bigger advocates for goal-line technology than me. Every time I'm asked, I clearly state that the sooner it's brought in the better.

"We all saw what happened with England in the World Cup [2010] in the Germany game (when Frank Lampard's shot crossed the line and wasn't given)."

Bolton sit in 17th place, just above the relegation zone.
