Zach Clough "not surprised" to be scoring for Bolton Wanderers

Bolton Wanderers youngster Zach Clough is "not surprised" with his sterling form since breaking into the Trotters' first team.

Bolton Wanderers striker Zach Clough has claimed that he is "not surprised" with his form since breaking into the Trotters' first team.

The 19-year-old has scored six goals in nine games since netting on his Bolton debut in the FA Cup against Wigan Athletic in January.

Clough told BBC Sport: "I'm enjoying it. I've waited all my life to get to where I am and it's just all coming at once and hopefully it continues. I'm not surprised because I've worked hard to get where I am.

"I've always scored goals at every level and it's just working now in the Championship. I believe in what I'm doing and I believe in my ability."

Bolton welcome Reading to the Macron Stadium on Tuesday.
