Bolton Wanderers duo ruled out for season

Bolton Wanderers duo Zach Clough and Kevin McNaughton are ruled out for the remainder of the season after being injured against Reading on Tuesday night.

Bolton Wanderers have been dealt a double blow after Zach Clough and Kevin McNaughton were ruled out for the rest of the season.

Both players, along with defender David Wheater, suffered injuries during the club's 1-1 draw with Reading on Tuesday night.

Clough, who has proven a revelation in the first team with six goals in 10 appearances, dislocated his shoulder, while on-loan defender McNaughton has fractured his leg.

The news is slightly better where Wheater is concerned, but the former Middlesbrough man faces a race against time to recover from a hamstring injury in time for the final weeks of the campaign.
