After securing maximum points for the first time and installing fresh management, Bologna should have the edge over an ailing Empoli side - however, they are notoriously leaky at the back and their visitors remain competitive despite a winless start. Both stuck in the bottom six of the early Serie A standings, Spezia and winless Sampdoria meet at Stadio Alberto Picco on Saturday.

While, last week, the hosts lost their latest of three away fixtures against Italy's top clubs, Samp let 10-man Milan off the hook at Marassi.

Having both lost last weekend, Torino and Sassuolo meet in Serie A's Saturday evening kickoff at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, with an instant response in mind.

The hosts were pipped at the post by Inter to suffer a second defeat of the season, while their visitors were also beaten late on; extending a winless streak to four.
