Ian Holloway's Blackpool are said to be lining up a move for Emile Heskey.
The former England international is available on a free transfer after being released by Aston Villa.
Holloway is trying to add a strong centre-forward to his ranks after a deal for Billy Paynter fell through, according to Sky Sports News.
Heskey has also been linked with a move to Hull City and Huddersfield.
