Preview: Blackpool vs. Ipswich

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship clash between Blackpool and Ipswich Town.

Blackpool can put pressure on third-placed Queens Park Rangers if they grab all three points from their Championship encounter against Ipswich Town this weekend.

The Seasiders will be unable to move higher than fourth place with a win, but they can go within one point of the former Premier League outfit.

The home side are unbeaten in their last seven encounters, while this weekend's opponents reside 13th in the league table, 10 points adrift of Paul Ince's Blackpool.

Mick McCarthy's men have gone five games without a win, but they have only suffered one defeat, which came against Burnley on October 19.

Chris Basham may return to the fold at some point during this weekend for Blackpool after returning to training following an ankle injury, while Adam Cresswell is unavailable for Ipswich.

The full-back will serve a two-match ban after being given his marching orders during his side's 1-1 draw with Barnsley last Friday.
