Huddersfield Town make the trip to Bloomfield Road to face Blackpool on Saturday afternoon looking to maintain their 100% record in League One.
At a time when the Terriers sit at the top of the standings, the home side are at the opposite end having lost both of their first two matches.
Match preview
Although Huddersfield have been heavily backed to win this season's League One title, Lee Grant would have stressed to his side that they needed to start on the front foot and make a statement.
The Terriers have delivered on that front, beginning 2024-25 with a 3-0 victory over Leyton Orient before battling their way to a 2-0 success at Reading.
With a penalty-shootout success over Leicester City in the EFL Cup after a 2-2 draw thrown in for good measure, there is an argument that Huddersfield have been the most impressive team in any of the EFL divisions thus far.
Huddersfield have achieved the perfect start in League One despite making three changes for their second fixture, as well as having five different goalscorers.
Statistics such as those can only bode well ahead of a long season, and Grant will be expecting more goals against what appears to be a struggling Blackpool outfit.
Steve Bruce brought consolidation to the Tangerines in 2024-25 and there is genuine ambition that they could challenge for the playoffs this time around.
However, conceding seven goals in defeats to Stevenage and Exeter City has piled the pressure on Bruce during the early weeks of this season.
Losing 1-0 to fellow third-tier side Port Vale in the EFL Cup in midweek has done little to ease the mood at Bloomfield Road, the fanbase expecting a positive response when a team of Huddersfield's quality are in town.
That said, when taking into consideration pre-season friendlies against teams no higher than League One, Blackpool are now five matches without a victory.

Team News
Niall Ennis and Ashley Fletcher are likely to return to the Blackpool XI after dropping down to the substitutes' bench for the EFL Cup tie.
With Blackpool looking far more solid in defence, that may prove to be the only two alterations made by Bruce.
Despite Huddersfield impressing with a much-changed team against Leicester, Grant may revert back to the side that started against Reading.
Eighteen-year-old Cameron Ashia will be one to watch as the season progresses, the teenage winger having netted in the last two games.
However, Alfie May will be restored to the right flank for this fixture, while Joe Taylor will continue to lead the attack.
Blackpool possible starting lineup:
Peacock-Farrell; Brown, Casey, Ihiekwe, Coulson; Hamilton, Evans, Honeyman, Hansson; Ennis, Fletcher
Huddersfield Town possible starting lineup:
Goodman; Sorensen, Whatmough, Low, Miller; Ledson, Kane; May, Wiles, Roosken; Taylor
We say: Blackpool 1-3 Huddersfield Town
Although Blackpool have scored goals in their opening double-header, we cannot ignore that they are facing the leaders with the worst defensive record in the division. With that in mind, we are back another convincing victory for Grant's team.
