Francois Zoko delighted with Blackpool victory

Blackpool striker Francois Zoko has said that he is pleased the club have been able to win their first league match of the season.

The Ivorian scored in the second half as the Seasiders claimed a 1-0 victory against Cardiff City this evening.

"It feels very good because it was the time to win," he told Sky Sports News. "Today the team were excellent, we worked very hard and we deserved to win.

"We are confident. After the international break we worked very hard and we progress game after game."

Zoko joined Blackpool in August after being released by Stevenage.
