Karl Robinson to talk to MK Dons chairman about Blackpool approach

Robinson to talk to Dons chairman

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has revealed that he will talk to chairman Pete Winkelman about moving to Blackpool.

The 32-year-old has reportedly been approached by the struggling Championship club to become their new manager.

"All I do know is the chairman has asked for a meeting with me and I'll know the truth then," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "I do believe something has happened but I don't know what it is.

"I didn't want to know anything before the game [against Sheffield Wednesday about a Blackpool approach] because I think it's unfair to the football club.

"I'll show [Blackpool] the respect they deserve but that doesn't matter what the decision is, I'll be in work as normal on Wednesday."

Dons defeated Wednesday 2-0 on Tuesday to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
