Matt Phillips out with broken arm

Blackpool have suffered a blow ahead of the new season after it was revealed that winger Matt Phillips has broken his arm.

The 22-year-old suffered the injury during pre-season training, and the club have put no timescale on his return.

Phillips signed for the club from Wycombe Wanderers in 2010, and he has gone on to make almost 100 appearances for the Seasiders.

The Scottish international was linked with a move to Crystal Palace earlier in the summer.
