Well-travelled striker Brett Ormerod has said that he will always have a "special" association with Blackpool after being told he would not be offered a new contract.
Ormerod, 35, scored in all four divisions of the Football League during his two spells with the Seasiders and is now reportedly after a new club.
"I've had seven-and-a-half years over two spells and it couldn't have gone any better," he said.
"Whatever the future holds, I'll always look back because it's always been my club. This is a special place for me and it is emotional speaking about it."
Ormerod spent four years at Bloomfield Road from 1997-2001 before returning in 2009.
"I always said when I came back that if I can have half as good a team as I did last time then I'd be delighted, but it's been unbelievably better," he added.
The forward scored 61 goals in his two spells at the Lancashire club.
