Blackpool boss Ian Holloway hit with fine

Ian Holloway fined by FA

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has been fined £2,000 and hit with a one-match touchline ban after being charged by the FA for improper conduct.

The charge came after the 48-year-old heavily criticised the fourth official during the Seasiders' 2-2 draw with Coventry in the Championship this week.

Holloway was sent to the stands during the match after blasting the referee's decision not to allow the former Premier League side to replace injured Ian Evatt before letting Coventry take a corner and subsequently score.

The former Queens Park Rangers boss has yet to comment on the decision.
