Blackpool boss Ian Holloway rues missed chances following their 2-1 loss to West Ham United in the Championship playoff final.

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has revealed his disappointment following the club's 2-1 defeat to West Ham United in the Championship playoff final.

The Seasiders missed a host of chances in the second period before losing to a goal in the final moments, but the Blackpool boss has vowed that the club will bounce back.

"We are left to regret the chances we missed. We have to get over it and bounce back. [The players] have just missed out on a great big bonus that would have taken their money up," Holloway told Sky Sports News.

Blackpool finished the Championship season in fifth position.
