Blackpool striker Nile Ranger goes AWOL

Blackpool's Ranger goes AWOL

Blackpool manager Lee Clark has revealed that he hasn't seen AWOL striker Nile Ranger for over two weeks.

The 23-year-old hasn't played in December and reportedly went missing from Bloomfield Road not long after being left out of the Tangerines' squad to face Birmingham City earlier this month.

"If anyone can let us know where he is, send me a letter and we will go from there," Clark told The Gazette.

"I don't know where he is, I haven't seen him for more than two weeks. He's been asked to report into training and has been asked to play in games and he hasn't been seen.

"For whatever reason Nile appears to be back in London but we don't know why."

Ranger, who has scored twice in 14 appearances this season, has been sacked from his previous two clubs due to off-the-field issues.

Clark's struggling side are bottom of the Championship and 10 points from safety.
