Matthew Kilgallon "buzzing" at Blackburn Rovers

Matt Kilgallon has admitted that he is "buzzing" following his move to Blackburn Rovers.

The 29-year-old was released by Sunderland at the end of last season before signing a two-year deal at Ewood Park on Tuesday.

"I'm really buzzing to be fair," he told the club's official website. "When Blackburn came in, I talked with my family, but it didn't take long to decide that I wanted to come here."

Kilgallon made eight appearances in all competitions for Sunderland last season.
