Kean: 'I want to keep Samba'

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has stated that Christopher Samba is not for sale, despite interest from Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers.

The towering defender, 27, has reiterated his desire to leave the club this week but Kean has refused to be drawn on recent speculation.

"One club had bid twice and we refused both. He's not for sale. I'll be telling him that. Hopefully I'll get him in the right frame of mind to continue," Kean told The Sun.

Samba joined Rovers from Hertha BSC in 2006.
