The owners of Blackburn Rovers, Venky's, have insisted that Chris Samba's departure from the club will mark the last of their key players to leave.
The club currently sit 18th in the Premier League, with a real threat of relegation, but club director Vineeth Rao has moved to allay some of the fears.
"There are no plans to sell any more key players, why would there be? Our immediate focus is on staying in the Premier League. We hope Chris Samba will be the last key departure," Rao told The Lancashire Telegraph.
"There are no plans to sell any more key players because we want to improve the squad."
Blackburn host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
