Steve Kean has revealed that the Blackburn Rovers hierarchy have given the Scot their full support despite fans' attempts to overthrow him as manager.
A section of Rovers supporters will stage a protest march on Saturday ahead of Blackburn’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at Ewood Park.
Despite the concern from fans, club owners Venky’s have stood by the 43-year-old and urged supporters to back the team, who have yet to win a match this season.
"The owners gave me their full backing and said, 'If there is going to be a demonstration, don't worry, we're fully behind you'," BBC Sport quotes Kean as saying. "They backed me like they always have.
"There is nobody more frustrated then myself and the players. Ewood is always a daunting place for any team to come and we just need the fans to stick with us and give us their backing.â€
Approximately 1,000 fans are expected to join the march this weekend.
