Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede: 'I can score against anybody'

In-form Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede has declared that he is not scared of anyone and can score against any team.

The French-born forward has scored five goals in four straight games for Rovers to join three other players at the top of the Championship's scoring charts on 10 for the season.

"I know I'm able to score in any game against anybody," Gestede told the club website. "I don't mind, I'm not scared of any defender.

"We've got a good team, I know I've got good players behind me, I know that they will feed me."

Blackburn sit just outside the Championship's playoff places after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion and are unbeaten in seven games.
