Blackburn Rovers' on-loan West Ham United defender Doneil Henry out for season

West Ham United loanee Doneil Henry has been ruled out for the rest of the season after injuring his hamstring while on loan at Blackburn Rovers.

The 21-year-old was due to remain at Rovers until April 6, but will now return to West Ham because of the problem suffered in Blackburn's 3-1 win at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

"Unfortunately for Doneil Henry it is going to be the end of his season for him, he's with a specialist as we speak," Rovers boss Gary Bowyer told the club website this evening.

Henry made three starts for Rovers in his two weeks with the Championship side.
