Swansea City recall Kyle Bartley from Birmingham City loan

Swansea City have recalled Kyle Bartley from his season-long loan at Birmingham City.

The 22-year-old returns to the Welsh club as defensive backup under Michael Laudrup.

He scored five goals in 19 appearances from defence for Birmingham this season.

Birmingham have now lost both Bartley and Dan Burn to recalls and manager Lee Clark is expected to act quickly to bring in a defender with just two days of the transfer window remaining.
