Lee Clark unsure about possible activity in transfer market

Lee Clark admits that he does not yet know how Birmingham City will approach the transfer market this summer.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has admitted that he is unsure what he will be allowed to do in the transfer market this summer.

After leading the club away from relegation on the final day of the Championship season, Clark is now eager to find out how he should approach recruiting new players ahead of the next campaign.

"I've got lots of players out of contract, obviously all the loans go back, I've got double figures of players out of contract," the 41-year-old told the Birmingham Mail.

"I've got no ideas for the budget next year and if I can keep the players I want to keep next year.

"I've met some potential signings, i.e. Bosmans. But I haven't been able to put anything down in financial terms to them."

Birmingham finished the season outside the relegation zone only on goal difference.
