Agent: 'No offers for Nicolas Gaitan'

The agent of Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan has revealed that there have been no offers for his client.

The 25-year-old, who has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, is a reported transfer target for Manchester United.

However, his agent Jose Iribarren told reporters at a press conference: "For now, there is no formal offer. He wants to continue at Benfica next season.

"We know the rumours have been appearing in the newspapers but I cannot confirm that there is particular interest from one club. To repeat, Nico Gaitan is calm and happy at Benfica."

Gaitan joined Benfica from Boca Juniors in 2010.
