Tranmere striker prepares for Munich move

Dale Jennings is a step closer to transferring to Bayern Munich after Tranmere Rovers accepted a bid from the German side.

The 18-year-old will now discuss personal terms with the Bundesliga side in preparation for a move from the League One club.

“Bayern have made us a very good offer for Dale and we don’t want to stand in his way of making this incredible move,” Tranmere manager Les Parry told his club’s official website.

“When a club with the size and history of Bayern come in for you it’s the opportunity of a lifetime and I wish Dale all the best should the transfer happen.”

The striker scored six goals in 32 appearances last season.
