Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer is "firmly convinced" that Thomas Muller will "end his career" at Allianz Arena.
The 32-year-old has spent his entire professional career with Bayern, representing the club on 621 occasions, contributing 226 goals and 240 assists during a highly-successful period.
Muller has again been an important player for the Munich giants this term, scoring 12 times and registering 22 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.
The German's contract at Allianz Arena is due to expire next June, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.
However, Hainer is confident that Muller, who has been linked with a switch to the Premier League, will "end his career" at the club.
"I'm firmly convinced that Muller belongs to Bayern. I'm firmly convinced he will end his career here at Bayern," Hainer told BR24Sport.
Muller has contributed seven goals and 19 assists in 28 Bundesliga appearances during the 2021-22 campaign, while he has provided four goals and three assists in the Champions League.
