Bayern Munich eye Sergio Busquets as replacement for Bastian Schweinsteiger?

Bayern Munich could reportedly look to make a move for Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets during the upcoming transfer window.

The Express, which cites reports in Spain, suggests that the holding midfielder is seen as a perfect replacement should Bayern talisman Bastian Schweinsteiger move to Manchester United in the summer.

It is thought that Pep Guardiola's Munich would face a stern battle to land the 26-year-old Spanish international, however, given that Barcelona do not want Busquets to depart the Nou Camp.

Busquets was a prominent fixture in Barca's side when Guardiola was at the helm, with the manager noted for bringing the midfielder through the youth ranks in Catalonia.
