Team News: Mario Gotze on bench for Bayern Munich

Mario Gotze makes the Bayern Munich bench, while Xherdan Shaqiri is preferred to Arjen Robben.

Summer signing from Borussia Dortmund Mario Gotze has been passed fit to make the Bayern Munich bench for their away game against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

There is no space in Pep Guardiola's first XI for either Thiago Alcantara or Arjen Robben, with Xherdan Shaqiri and Toni Kroos both starting.

For the hosting Frankfurt, Alexander Meier starts up front and will be flanked by Takashi Inui and Stefan Aigner.
