Late goals from Mario Mandzukic and Luis Gustavo keep Bayern Munich top of the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich scored twice in the last ten minutes at Werder Bremen to maintain their 100% start to the season.

A tight game was goalless with ten minutes to play, despite the best efforts of Claudio Pizarro against his former club.

Brazilian midfielder Luis Gustavo broke the deadlock with a wonderful curled strike from 25 yards.

Bayern were two goals to the good just minutes later when substitutes Xherdan Shaqiri and Mario Mandzukic combined to put the result beyond doubt and keep Bayern top of the Bundesliga.
