Javi Martinez: 'Bayern Munich can retain titles'

Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez insists that the club can retain all five trophies that they won last year.

Javi Martinez has insisted that Bayern Munich can win another five trophies this year.

Munich won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and the Club World Cup in an historic 2013 for the club, and the Spanish midfielder believes the Bavarians can match this feat.

When asked if a repeat could be on the cards, Martinez told Sport Bild: "Yes, I think this team could do this. We have the quality to make a milestone in the history of football."

Martinez has not featured for Pep Guardiola's men since December, after picking up an injury at the Club World Cup.
