Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that winning the DFB-Pokal was his side's number one priority at the start of the season.
Dortmund face Bayern Munich in the German Cup final on Saturday as both teams look for their second piece of silverware this season.
Bayern won the Bundesliga title at the end of March, while Dortmund secured the German Super Cup last year.
"For me it is the biggest final you could play in, because it is much closer to reach than the Champions League final," Klopp told reporters.
"We are really happy to be here, because this was our goal since the very first day of the season.
"Not just to be here, of course, also to win the game. This is our goal. And I am happy that the team made it happen."
Bayern finished 19 points ahead of Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
