Ottmar Hitzfeld says that a win for Bayern Munich over Borussia Dortmund tomorrow would effectively seal the title for the Bavarian outfit.

Ottmar Hitzfeld believes that Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga title if they can defeat their rivals Borussia Dortmund in tomorrow's crunch encounter.

The Bavarian giants have secured the 'winter championship' in a record time of 14 games after opening a 10-point gap over Bayer Leverkusen.

Die Borussen, who sit third in the table, are a point behind Leverkusen, but Hitzfeld - who has managed both Bayern and Dortmund - said that Jurgen Klopp's men are not yet out of the equation.

"If Bayern win, I believe they will win the title," said Hitzfeld. "But if Dortmund win, they have the return leg in front of their home crowd and everything will be open again."

Hitzfeld won the Champions League and Bundesliga title with both clubs.
