Thomas Muller exits Germany friendly with injury

Thomas Muller has been substituted with an injury just over 20 minutes into Germany's international friendly against Spain this evening.

The Bayern Munich midfielder appeared to pick up the knock in a collision with Sergio Ramos in the opening 20 minutes, and had to be replaced by Karim Bellarabi five minutes later after struggling with his movement.

The world champions confirmed on their Twitter account that the change was made because of injury, but have not said how serious the problem is.

The injury follows news that Bayern captain Philipp Lahm will miss the next three months with a broken ankle.
