Preview: Lille vs. Bayern Munich

Lille vs. Bayern Munich

Lille welcome Bayern Munich to France on Tuesday as they attempt to secure their first three points in the Champions League this season.

Defeats to Valencia and BATE Borisov have left the former French champions bottom of Group F after two matches and defeat at home to Bayern could end their campaign.

Bayern, meanwhile, currently sit third in the group having beaten Valencia and lost to BATE Borisov, but they have won all nine of their Bundesliga matches so far this season.

Lille have lost three of their last four Champions League matches, but they face a Bayern side that has lost four of their last five away games in Europe.

Lille will be without suspended defender Mathieu Debuchy, while Idrissa Gueye and Rio Mavuba are have not made the squad. However, Lucas Digne is expected to start at left-back.

Bayern, meanwhile, will welcome David Alaba back into their lineup, but Claudio Pizarro is expected to drop out in favour of Mario Mandzukic.
