Thomas Muller has claimed that Bayern Munich must not employ "kamikaze" tactics during the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Porto.
The Bavarians have to overturn a 3-1 deficit at the Allianz Arena tomorrow night if they want to make it through to the semi-finals.
Despite there being plenty of hard work ahead of them in the tie, Muller remains confident that Bayern will reach the last four of the competition.
"We have to play smart, and avoid kamikaze tactics," the 25-year-old is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "If at half time it is still goalless, progress will still be possible. Of course we feel the pressure, but having a challenge is a good thing for us.
"It is important to stay focused and score at least twice. I am positive. Our team has shown during recently that we are capable of fighting until the last minute. I cannot tell you why we will go through, but I am still confident and quite sure that we will. A 2-0 win at home against Porto would not be a miracle, would it?"
Muller has scored 18 goals in 38 appearances for Bayern so far this season.
