Bayern Munich have confirmed that Mario Mandzukic will miss their Champions League trip to CSKA Moscow after sustaining a calf injury.

The striker picked up the problem during their 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.

Julian Green, 18, who has scored 15 times in 18 games for the club's reserve team this season, will take his place in the squad.

The reigning European champions have already sealed their place in the knockout stage of the competition.
