Arturo Vidal eyes Champions League success with Bayern Munich

Chile international Arturo Vidal says that he has joined German champions Bayern Munich to win the Champions League.

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has said that he has joined the German champions in order to win the Champions League.

The 28-year-old helped Juventus to the final of last season's competition, where they were beaten by Barcelona.

"I have come here to win the Champions League," he told reporters.

"Hopefully it will be this year, but I will spend several years here and hope to win as many cups as I possibly can.

"I will play in midfield the same way I did with the national team and with Juventus. That is where I feel more comfortable."

Vidal made his debut for Bayern in their DFL-Super Cup defeat to Wolfsburg on Saturday evening.
