19-year-old Luke Williams scores the winner for Middlesbrough as they beat Ipswich Town 2-0 at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough earned a 2-0 win against Ipswich Town thanks to a goal from youngster Luke Williams this afternoon.

The 19-year-old finished neatly from close range to score his second goal of the season in his first competitive Championship start.

Ipswich dominated possession in the second half but could not make the breakthrough despite efforts from Paul Taylor, Tommy Smith and Michael Chopra.

The win moves Boro just outside the playoff places, while defeat for Ipswich condemns the Tractor Boys to the relegation zone at this early stage of the season.
