Andoni Zubizarreta: 'Dani Alves's long-term future is uncertain'

Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has praised Dani Alves for his contribution to the team in the early part of the season.

However, Zubizarreta has admitted that the Brazilian's long-term future is uncertain.

"We're delighted Dani Alves is here and the performances he is giving," he told Marca.

"His contract ends in 2015. There's no tension. He has character and sometimes you disagree with him. There are no clauses about games played in his contract. It ends in 2015."

Alves was strongly linked with a move away from the Catalan outfit this summer.
