Report: Barcelona block Arthur exit

Arthur has reportedly been informed by Barcelona that he will not be allowed to leave the club at the end of the season.

The La Liga giants are expected to shake up their squad this summer after an underwhelming 2019-20 to date.

Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal have been repeatedly linked with the Camp Nou exit, while Arthur is another who has recently faced an uncertain future.

According to The Mirror, however, Barca have rebuffed all enquiries for the Brazil international and told other clubs that he is not for sale.

Arthur, a £35m signing from Gremio in 2018, has started a combined 15 La Liga and Champions League matches this season.
