Neymar confirms Lionel Messi move to Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has confirmed that Lionel Messi is set to join the club this summer.

The 34-year-old has agreed an initial two-year contract with the Parisian outfit and has already landed in the French capital to finalise the transfer.

Messi's deal is set to see him earn £25m per year after tax, plus bonuses, and he will also have the option to extend his stay by a further year.

Neymar took to Instagram to post a clip of himself hugging Messi, with the caption 'back together', confirming he is to reunite with his former Barcelona teammate.

PSG have also released a teasing video of their own on Twitter, accompanied by the words "New diamond in Paris".

Neymar spent four years at Barcelona with Messi, where the pair won two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey trophies as well as the Champions League in 2014-15.
